to open .dat file

I am unable to view the archive files of yahoo messenger as they are in .dat format. How can i read the content?

Can't they be opened with yahoo messenger itself? AFAICR, it is possible to see them using yahoo messenger itself.

Yahoo message archive decoder (suggested by Vishal) works pretty well
Just that it doesnt show email addresses and phone no.
it shows the rest of conversation.

Lesson: never share you "C:\" drive over network .. ppl might get hold of your yahoo archive and drool over your personal matters. I've seen it happen
(or disable archiving .. whatever)
