To Firewall or not to firewall.

Is the Windows XP adequate, or should I install something like Zonealarm? Used to have it on my 98SE, so I do have a licenced version lying around. Would it take up too much memory?
My rig is P4 1.6 ghz, 512 mb sdram and 80gb hdd. Pretty old but not too bad.

well the windows firewall is good
but u will have problems
it doesnt ask for permissions for every program ...
thats if ur using winxp with sp2 ...
winxp sp1 firewall does only a basic job
so either ways its better if u have something like zonealarm lying ard ..
and it does come in freeware versions too .. so u might want to update it ..

i agree wid u windows firewall does'nt do good job even if u have win sp2 . it would be better to install zone alaram professional version. its damn good but not 100% hack proof.
