Samsung's GDDR3 is used by leading graphics controller manufacturers to boost graphics
card performance. As a hyper-synchronous double-data-rate DRAM, this advanced memory
operates at clock speeds up to 800MHz. GDDR3 delivers data at speeds up to 1.6Gbps, and
peak chip bandwidth is 6.4GBps. Added features are a small form factor and low power
    operating requirement.
    Advanced Features
Samsung has incorporated key enhancements into GDDR3:
    • 1.8V I/O
    • Uni-Dir ectional & Single-Ended Data Strobe (RDQS, WDQS)
    • On-Die Termination
    • Of f-Chip Driver Calibration
    • Pseudo Open-Drain
These features enable improved signal integrity, boost performance and lower power.
