i got a thumb drive.........which i use to transfer data/.................

welll it dosen show up in my computer wen i remove it and put it bak,..............it shows up in device manager though.....

it dosent happen on ma frnds comp.....or ma dads laptop.........

its frikkin irritatin.....i gotta restart everytime i want to transfer more dan 128 mb of data at a time......

wat da hell shud i do??????

WinXp with Sp1 i presume?

maybe uve disbaled some services.. or maybe an update has been released to fix this.

whats ur configuration and the os that ur using.
try windows xp with sp 1 (as told by ice)
if you have celeron (i had the same problem with it)
