Hi friends,

Today when I did complete scan of system Norton found a virus named “Trozan.zlob”. It says that virus has been Quarantined.
Location of infected file is “C\System Volume Information\_restore{0DC646D4-6370-4A63-B63A-1F14B5939DE9}RP54\”.

I am unable to delete the infected file. Whenever I try to delete it says that file is either compressed file in a container or has been moved or an email message. When I searched on the Norton antivirus site for solution the had given, I did not find any of the registry key they have been given to delete from registry editor.

So friends pls tell me what actions should, I take so that my system did not get any harm from this Virus. I am using window XP with Service pack 2. My virus definition file is updated.

My motive is to prevent system from any harm. So pls help me.

thanx

first turn off 'system restore' facility/service.
go to safe mode and scan ur pc with ur updated antivirus
then using windows disk cleaner remove all but the last systemrestore points.
check *www.precisesecurity.com/computer-virus/avtzf-dec016.htm for a detailed solution.
