Hey here is the aks
i downloaded x86_64 5 cds from opensuse's site....

i wanted to install from iso images on the hard disk so i burned first cd and booted the system from it...

on the front menu there was option to select hard disk by changing options by F4 key..

then it said "if empty then it will search all the disks"

but after sometime it gave "error in finding installation source"

so help me guys..

i know there is another thread here of installing from iso images..

but that is totally different method

as there is direct option to install suse from iso imaages then why to follow that method..

also on suse site i saw to enter on bootmenu

install=iso:"source iso file address"

so tell me what is this all abt as i m unable to install thru either method

i m frustrated as i have tried 9-10 times since last night

Things to keep in mind when installing from HDD
1) All images should be at one place
2) Also it should be on a FAT32 partion
3) Prefebly keep image just next level in partion like /dev/ha(not in any folder)
4) ensure that address is correct(u need to enter file addres in linux terms no like windows D:\linux\suse.iso)
