    http://www.gnome.org/community/
At http://www.gnome-look.org/ You can find many themes and other items available for customization of Your Gnome.
At http://gnome-hacks.jodrell.net/ is a repository for all those little tricks that people have worked out that do something useful or cool with their GNOME Desktop. If you've come up with something neat, submit it here so that other people can benefit from your experience. It is unlike KDE which is blott...ome is the real GNU/Linux Desktop Environment

I _am_ using Gnome 2.14.1 (Ubuntu 6.06 Dapper Beta).
