I wanna buy a UPS, my system specs are down there. My PSU is 450W.Budget <5000. I would run a small simple set of two spk along with ofcourse my system(I would not run my Altec Lansing on it). My requirments

    1. Should withstand heavy fluctuations. 3,4 every hour. System should not get a restart at any cost.

    2. Should work on invertor (I have a microteck digital invertor)

s/w connectivity with the system for auto shutdown of the os is an added adv.

I am not concerned about the amount of backup it gives.
600-800 VA(500W) I guess should be enough(considering I might upgrade for more RAM or graphic card to run under SLI mode, A CPU cooling system as well). Now I have made a couple of choises, below are the links for all. I needs suggestions from you all.

    1. APC RS 800 VA

    2. APC ES 650 or SC620

    3. Su-kam 800VA home UPS (Swan/Cosmic)

    4. Luminous

    5. Powercom-600VA

My personal pref is "APC RS 800 VA" or "Su-kam 800VA home UPS" with su-kam getting an edge over it. If you have any other brand in mind please share. I am in a desp need of a good UPS, my current one is simply not taking any fluctuations.(BTW its a microteck UPS 3 months old)

I use the smartups and it runs off a generator just fine without issues. No noise/no issues and absolutely no reboots.
