Suggest a Nokia mobile for 7K

it should have gprs, infrared and if possible bluetooth

there are two options:

* 3100
* 3120

3120 has
* GPRS/MMS
* Irda

All the features but for bluetooth that u have asked for.

Also the keypads is better and well aranged.
This comes at lesser talktime and standby time.

3100 costs 6k
3120 costs 6250rs.

GO for 3120, It is only mob under 7k that u can find.

a nice handset


but u can get SE t610 in 7.5k with cam and bluetooth

or u can get samsung x430 camshell phone

im myself using 6610 . its a pretty good phone.

if ur looking for a nokia phone with bluetooth under 7k i think u will u will have to settle with a second hand phone

hey, 6610 will not cost less than 8k if u buy from mobile shops.
And u also quoting Se 610 at a lower price.It wont cost less than

Both samsung and Se phones sux, IMO. I can back my post u want

i thought their might some exception for the bluetooth but i think i am wrong

i have talked to my dad and the budget is up 2k so now i can spend 9k for the mobile

i think bluetooth would be still out of reach but plz can u provide suggestions

i was previously using my dad' s nokia 6100 and liked its battery performance and personilization level.

what abt NGQD, 6220, 6610i, 3220

Buy n6610 . . Its the best for your buget! i used it for over a year . . Its really a cool mobile, handy and with good features . . i changed to 6600 couple of weeks before.

It's price has come down . . guess it's less than 7500. . Go for it even its 500 or 1000 extra . . worth a buy

i mean compare samsung e700 and nokia 7610's screen.. and then tell me... dude have u seeen a k500i or a samsung d410? 7610 duznt even come close to the d410 screen....


neways my friend bought a t610 for 7.5k.. visit heera panna

duh.. even alfaa has it for 8k

It connects using DKU5 Data Cable ...

I live in chennai and i dont know abt heera panna or manish market or alpha. All these i came to know from techno_funky, theraven or from u . Even Agent 007 goes to lamington road only

In chennai, 6610 costs 8k and T610 costs 8750 rs. And i thought T610 for rs. 7.5k was too low. Mobs in mumbai are cheap but T610 for 7.5k is too cheap. Ask any chennai members here, it wont cost less than 8.5k. In SE shops it costs 9.5k.

And abt SE K500i or samsung d410 , i have seen k 700i and k 500i and also s 700i , not samung. SE phones are 16-bit (2^16= 65k colors) and so is nokia 7610. There is more to just screen and screen colors.
Now have u seen nokia 9500? See it colors, it is vivid and colorful.
Abt the sucking thing, i have posted many times abt the short commings of SE phones and i can PM u them if u want. Also take a look at the nokia versus SE thread, and see abt the SE shortcommings. Leave alone me, there are many users who have posted their SE problem.

what abt NGQD, 6220, 6610i, 3220

Hey, u can get n gage qd or 6610i or 6220 for this budget ; and i dont think u can get 3220 (or atleast in chennai)

Comparing these three, u can go for 6610i or n gage QD depending upon ur needs and requirements. 6220 is not worth as 6610i is better than 6220. 3220 looks good and has EDGe and i dont think u can get it for 9k.
Try getting 7250i for around 9k, it is a symbian 40 series phone. ( even that price might be possible if u can get at mail2and's suggestion of buying in alpha or heera pani).

* n gage QD has bluetooth which 6610i doesn't has. n gage QD is almost a mobile gamming device. It has a large screen compared to 6610i and also a joystick. MMc card can be hot swapped without switching oof the phone and this too lacks in 6610i.
* 6610i has camera which n gage QD lacks. It also has Fm radio in-built .

Both are good, it all depends on ur need and wht way u want to use ur phone.

well qd is the cheapest bluetooth enabled phone in india i think
u can get it at any authorized nokia outlet for rs.9700 with a yr warranty

QD Sucks Man .....The Original Nokia Ngage was and still is The Best....My Friend Just Got One For Rs.7,350 With The Data Cable and Stereo Headset Bundled......And Upgraded It To 256Mb MMC Card @Rs.1,400.....Trust Me If Its All-In-One Features U want Then Its The Best......But i does have its Cons Like The Holding The Phone Sideways To Talk(A Big Pain In The Unless U use The Handsfree Kit) And The Usual Camera Of Course....But Then Its a Steal For Its Price 8)
