its XFX 650i ultra......thats the name of the mobo..but i forgot to tell u that this doesnt have onboard video.

if he wants intel then tell him to go for 965G based motherboard which has onboard video...and better wud be G33 based mobo..but that m8 be a little expensive. there are many different versions available from intel itself and also other cos liks xfx, asus etc.

i dont think there is any mobo with onboard video supporting DX10.

dude before purchasing a mobo u first need to know which chipset u wanna buy...

currently some "good" chipsets for intel CPUs are:
1. Nvidia 680i
2. Nvidia 650i
3. Intel 965
4. Intel 975
5. Intel G33
6. Intel P35
7. Intel X38 (m not sure whtr its been released in the market or not)

all these chipsets have different features/support(for eg. some have DDR3 support), each one has its own good and bad. but once u decide the chipset, u get options of which company mobo u wanna buy.
for eg. if u choose 965 chipset
then u can buy a intel, MSI, Asus, Gigabyte....etc mobo. with each company sporting some additional feature(crossfire, onboard wifi etc)....along with being based on a 965 chipset.

in short 650i is the chipset....and XFX has released a motherboard called XFX 650i ultra based on the 650i chipset.

cool dude.....but do add abt 5-6k more for a gfx card...
either go for 8600GT which will be in the 5-6k range or
the lower 8500GT...
both support DX10.

@fun2sh

with budget of Rs. 5k iether BIOSTAR P35 based board of XFX 650i utra would only fit in...

yes ASUS do have its own 650 SLi chipset based board, thats P5N-E SLi which is Rs. 7k + TAX, much more than the budget !!!

XFX is good enough, go for the board...

I hope the stability problems with XFX 650i ultra have been fixed by now..u better check it.
Why don't you visit the official pages of companies like ASUS and MSI.They might have motherboards based on new chipsets which will fit your budget.

I hope the stability problems with XFX 650i ultra have been fixed by now..

all those board which had the problem (4th RAM slot not working while running 4 RAM modules together) were replaced with a working board....

I think XFX 650i ultra has more issues than just ram slot problems.I can find many users complaining about the board regarding different issues in indian forums.
