Proccy: PHENOM II X4 955 BE 3.2 Ghz with stock cooler.

MOBO: M4A78T-E 790GX AM3

RAM : 2 GB TRANSCEND 1333 Mhz

HDD : S.GATE 1TB & S.GATE 40 GB (IDE)

PSU : CM 500W(forget whether real power)

OPTICAL DRIVE: LG DVD WRITER

Cabby :CM ELITE 310

UPS : APC 650VA

SPEAKER : CREATIVE INSPIRE M2600

Monitor: Dell SX2210 22"

Tell me on the basis of this config(which i am not going to change and have no plan to OC)

1) MINIMUM RECOMMENDED GPU

2)THE BEST PERFORMANCE GPU

3) THE BEST VALUE yet DECENT PERFORMING GPU.

ONE MORE QNS:Can i make a crossfire with the GPU (SUGGESTED BY YOU) with my onboard graphics?

if the PSU is Extreme Power, either change it to accommodate good GPU or get HD5670. its lower LOAD power should ensure you don't get a bang for the buck

if u into serious gaming, theres no limit. change PSU & add in 2 X XFX HD5990 Black Edition.

depends on what card u choose. if HD5670, current PSU should suffice. but i'll never suggest anyone run anything more power hungry on Extreme Power. every chance is there, it'll fry the PC.

any Full Tower cabinet will accommodate this card with ease. or even the NZXT cabinets will.

and yes, you need a full tower for fitting that card.

one more suggestion Upgrade your RAM to 4G.

For cabinet, look for either HAF 932 or CM Cosmos.. HAF is highly recommended as it has a massive 230mm fan in the front which intakes a lot of cool air.. besides, it also has a 230 mm fan on the top which acts as a super exhaust while running quiet.. and, one 230 mm fan on the side panel which intakes cool air directly on to the card.. so I think that this should be perfect for your ATI monster..

You can also try HAF 922.. which is mid-tower, but enquire whether 5970 will fit in it or not..also, if you're spending around >30k for the card, I suggest go for Cooler Master Hyper N520 cooler for your CPU too..

lol a 5970 in an elite..as for the PSU, a GX750 for Rs6k will also do...

i haven't done it yet, Sir. Asking for opinion only. And GX750 will not stand in front of Corsair HX750 W COZ that is a psu without any cons.

CM HAF 932 - Rs. 9000 + taxes
Corsair HX 750 - Rs. 8200 + taxes.
Sapphire 5970 - Rs. 38438 + taxes..

If you can, then opt for Cooler Master HAF 932 AMD edition.. Rs. 10500 + taxes..
