confused
Evolving Rapidly...
Hi guys,
i am having some problem with my pc lately. The motherboard speaker gives out some loud beeps during startup (its a series of 4-5 beeps, with a very short, almost imperceptible gap between each beep).....and there is no display signal.
I have tried....
1>two different set of video cables
2>repositioning the ram cards
3>checked the wire/power connections
4>resetting the BIOS
but the problem still is not solved...
i feel its most probably a problem of the Graphic Card, but i am not sure about it. (i am fairly certain there is no problem with the display because of the beeps from the mobo, which indicates some problem with the system itself).
Strangely the leds on the mobo which indicate POST error show FF(which means everything is normal)
Please guys help me out....
my mobo is EVGA nforce 750i and my gpu is MSI geforce 8800GT OCed edition.
looking for some possible explanations/solutions....thanks for reading.
