Spice Mi-300 Android 2.1 5MP HVGA for Rs 10K

anyone heard about this new promising phone for just 10k!

Spice Mi-300 for just Rs 9990 with android 2.1, 5MP camera, wifi, AGPS, HVGA LCD screen, 1250mAH etc etc

the processor, ram, secondary camera and other details are unknown although some websites/blogs suggest it by saying it has 600Mhz with 256RAM. nothing about secondary camera for video calls!

Very interestingly, i found out this model too which is the same but without the spice tag - MA6!

I saw this model at hotspot store. Almost brought it but they didn't lower the price than 9700. so I am hoping for a price cut (which is very possible soon).I heard it has heating problem but no detailed review found. !! The main problem is it may not have updates like samsung or sony phones.

Montsa007 --- we are discussing spice not Samsung.

Did you guys saw the LG Optimus review on gagdet guru. It is about 10k.Also Galaxy 5 is a compitetor at that price point. But the Spice one specs better.

a guy who bought it yesterday told me that the phone came with android 1.6 and there's no word about android 2.1 from spice so far.

the truth is, this is a chinese made name MA6 as mentioned in the first post and so i really don't know whether spice will come up with the updates.

also without a secondary camera, i don't value buying a new phone nowadays
