Soundmax not started-Error code 10-Vista

    I am sorry if this is to go to Hardware TS

    Installed Vista-no issues-it installed all drivers EXCEPT THE SOUND DEVICE-No sound device

    found on device-device manager with windows update installed some Proview audio device-not working-manually installed soundmax-it installed and was detected-but gives a error that DEVICE CANNOT START-Code 10 with a yellow triangle on it-i am loving this OS-it is more like my fedora-I NEED MY SOUNDMAX SERVICE STARTING AND RUNNING IN VISTA

    THREE DAYS PASSED WITHOUT SLEEP-PLEASE PEOPLE HELP ME HERE

    The machine

    Soft
    Windows Vista RC1 Build 5600

    Hard
    768 MB DDR RAM
    Motherboard - ASUS A7V266-MX
    (VIA CHIPSET-SOUNDMAX ONBOARD ANALOG SOUND CARD)
    Video card - NVIDIA GEFORCE 5200 256 MB with latest forceware

    The Issue
    SOUNDMAX DEVICE DRIVER in device manager not started-error code 10-NO SOUND FROM SYSTEM-but

    i am able to listen to FM thru my tv tuner card audio device-Windows sound options reports

    that no audio device found-windows update did not installed drivers-i did a manual

    reinstall with oem drivers-a cheap tv tuner audio driver (conexant bt8) works-but the

    soundmax cant even be detected

    Bt878 TV Card-Video capture
    Soundmax integrated Digital Audio
    Soundmax integrated Digital Audio
    (Both with a Yellow triangle-exclamation)
    Unimodem Full-Duplex Audio Device
    Unsupported Standard Game Port

    > Get Chipset drivers for you motherboard from the intel site. Now run it and reboot.

    > Then update windows. You sound chipset will automaticaly be detected!

    Easy.
