Sound Card

I need to get a good sound card for recording purposes. All sound cards I have seen have too much latency. Do external USB sound cards have zero latency? Or is there any other zero latency card I can get?

If u want a low latency studio quality card, then go for the creative audigy2 series or the XiFi ones.
I don't know how usb stack up, but I guess it will increase latency compared to pci ones, as usb is longer distance.

Go for the audigy 2 ZS "Platinum" version, the one which includes the Live drive. Otherwise you will have just a gameport, and two line ins.

But if you want studio quality sound, then you better look for something more, studio like.

these options will be costly, better if U buy an Audigy 2 Value, without the live drive
