Right off the assembly line
I have a strange problem, whenever i change my desktop wallpaper i get windows explorer encountered a problem, dr. watson encountered a problem and a error code and also when i drag the error message it leaves a blending transition behind it as you can show in the picture i have attached with this query.

If i change the wallpaper through right clicking on desktop everything remains ok and also when i right click on thumbnail of a picture and choose set as desktop background. But when i do this with windows picture and fax viewer i get the error. Sometimes it become good and even through windows picture and fax viewer wallpaper successfully changed without any error but after some time it became usual.

For this i tried various hotfixes, check system with AVG antivirus professional fully updated, kaspersky antivirus fully updated but nothing improvement i also have formatted my computer till now 10 times with full format with different windows xp including sp2, sp3, media centre etc. My friends gave me these but he also could not understand the problem. The frustrating thing is that the same windows in which i have problem works fine on my friends system without any single error.

I alos update my drivers, defragment hard disk, check disk for errors, open my computer cabintet clean it, open ram from its slot and clean it but nothing improvement. After all these i use the same wallpapers that i have; on my friends system there became no any error.

In other computer tasks my system works fine. I was using the same windows before these problems but in that time there was no any such problem. I will also want to mention the thing that whenever i install new windows, for some time with windows picture and fax viewer i don't get error but after some time (4-5hours) it becomes usual, i became frustrated with these errors. i also check this problem against programs that i install so in a new installation i only install my drivers and check the problem but as usual it didn't become for some time but after (3-4hours) it became again.I am currently running windows xp sp3 with culprit xplorer.

My system configuration is

Lenovo CRT 17'' monitor

intel core2 duo E4400 processor

intel classic series DG965RY motherboard

Segate baracuda 7200rpm 160GB hard disk

LG GSA H550N-1.05 DVD RAM

kingston 1 GB DDR2 RAM with timing 5-5-5-5.

Please replay as soon as possible. Thanks:(
