SMACKDOWN!2 - Know Your Role
Am using Win XP Pro Service Pack 2 on Intel P4 3.80 processor with 2 x 256 mb sdram.

The above CD (belonging to my grandson) installs without any problem but on running it gives message :

'Connectrix Virtual Game Station.
CVGS requires a Pentiul class processor
or later to run."

It also does not play in PS2.

What is this Connectrix Virtual Game station ?
Is there any way in which the game can be played ?

Can anyone of you help my grandson to play this CD ?

First of all, how did u manage to install this game on your pc? It isn't made for the PC.
Connectix Virtual Station is an emulator which is used for running console games on pcs. However, it is mainly for PS1 games. I would suggest you use PCSX
But let me remind u that 70% chances are there this game will not work.
the emulator is not highly advanced to play extreme games.

Also, you'll require a Bios & some plugins, but since you own a PS2, i don't think there should be any problem. You can find plugins from p2p softwares.

However, if you're lucky, kindly inform me about it. Even i'm trying my luck, i have two dvds on hand.!!

the emulator called EPSXE id also good....i ran many games on it ....with P4!
Search for it google...sorry can't post the link!

I think so Epsxe is primarily for ps1 roms. However, if you want it here 's the link:

Connectix is the best one to play for PS1, ur copy requires a DaNil's P4 Fix to run it on ur comp... bad the site is down now

Use vgs xp patch 1.3 demo and it works for me

Use are allowed to use this only if u own a original playstation otherwise it is illegal
