i really tried my books but could not find a real concrete answer.


same is case with difference between MULTITASKING AND MULTIPROGRAMMING. PLZ REPLY IF U KNOW CORRECT AND VALID INFO IN A SIMPLE WAY SO THAT I CAN UNDERSTAND IT.

yeah u r right , i have heard of multitasking and multiprocessing but never heard of multiprogramming, also didnt found anything in google


mayb it means working simultaneously on C , C++ ,java etc

Program : Piece of code

Process : A program in execution. It resides in memory and consumes CPU time.

Task: *en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Task_(computers) I'm not able to comprehend it fully though.

Govt policies suck! With Chidambaram at the helm, he is messing up things like never before. He has one track mind - levy more taxes!

I know of a BPO who closed down due to service tax! He had his revenue of Rs. 1.25 crores only from CitiBank USA. But he was told to pay Service Tax of 12.24% simply because Citibank has branches in India. Citibank USA refused to reimburse him and he closed down because he would make losses!

Look at how taxes formalities have increased!! Service Tax, Fringe Benefit Tax, Income Tax, VAT! How many taxes do we pay? Are we earning money only to pay taxes??!!
