With ref to Digit Business\Visual explanation\Sep 2004 "Optimise Your 80 GB Hard disc": A way to shift the program files to a drive other than C is given (Altering the registry key). This is to be done soon after installing the OS.

DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO SHIFT A 3GB PROGRAM FILE DIRECTORY TO SOMEOTHER DRIVE WITHOUT REINSTALLING THE PROGRAMS ?

manually change the install paths in the registry for each and every program
then do the same for all the shortcuts ..

Yes .. You can do it through TweakUi ...

Its not supported in WinXP version of Tweakui ..But you can still do it with older version as I have done .. Download the 1.33 version and do it likewise ...

Warnning :

not all programs work through registry to find the installed path.

some programs stores path in ini files or store direct path to folder in registry.

u cannot garentee that such programs will work after u move all ur files and changed the path through registry
