This is a Windows vulnerabity. Microsoft released update for this issue and windows get updated automatically provided u have turned 'ON' the 'Automatic update' option.
    Solution:
Turn 'ON' windows 'Automatic updates' option
    or
    Download from here
    http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=894391

    This should solve your problem.

  3. so this problem arises only to the non-updated pc's?

Yes. Windows releases loads of patches. High priority updates get automatically downloaded if u turn 'Automatic updates' ON. It is always recommended.

If u have a slow internet connection don't download them.
install the autopatchers that digit gives in the CD/DVD

    first try this :

first run ccleaner, ur av and ur anti-spy in SAFE MODE.
    reboot.

then run sfc /scannow (Windows system file checker that replaces corrupt Windows system files) Pput your XP cd in the rom drive, cancel auto run, start > run > type in sfc /scannow

    if it helps fine;
else go to Start->Settings->Control Panel->Administrative Tools, and click on "Event Viewer".

The Event Viewer utility will allow you to review your system and application log files. Double-click on any error/warning entries you find that might relate to the problem.

    check http://www.daniweb.com/techtalkforums/thread19376.html

    else then :

    Open Control Panel.
    Click on Performance and Maintenance.
    Click on System.
Then click on the Advanced tab.
Click on the error-reporting button on the bottom of the windows.
    Select Disable error reporting.
    Click [OK] [OK]

    or

    [Start] [Run] [Regedit]
    Registry Key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\PCHealth\ErrorReporting
Modify/Create the Value Name according to the Value Data listed below.
Data Type: REG_DWORD [Dword Value] // Value Name: DoReport
    Value Data: [0 = Don’t Send Reports / 1 = Do Send Reports]
    Exit Registry and Reboot
