Selected for making html site

Guys,hv been selected for upgrading my school site www.afgji.org ,so if any guys knw html could they plzz help me out....as i m a beginner in html,they still selected me......i'll posting wht'll the school need in the website shorty.......and i don't want any of the google searches plzzz as i want it to be viewed from the angle of a member.

Have they strictly asked for HTML? I suggest wordpress because you can manage things very easily. We can help you to cutomize it so that it does not look like wordpress!

^But Joomla may be complex for beginners.If he can spend sometime learning Joomla, I would definitely recommend Joomla. Else Wordpress is Fine

I don't think a school would need Joomla power. A plain simple HTML site would be good.
