As advised by Digit from time to time, I changed the target of the 'My Documents' folder to another partition of my drive and shifted all my documents there. I even encrypted them. However, I can even access them from the 'Guest' account. Why's it so and how do I protect my documents from unauthorised access? I am using Windows XP Professional SP2 on an NTFS partition and am the administrator.

aryayush u can't

according to me u can't make a folder private if its not on the partition on which OS is install.
Atleast i can't do that on my PC.
Why don't u try some software for locking folders.
they work everywhere, on FAT on NTFS on every drive and works fast
don't try magic folders on win xp as i hav seen it corrupting windows xp
try fake folder *www.freewarestore.de
it has a size of 108KB and just installs one file under windows directory that u can even remove manually.
for more send me message and i will sort u out

Try Folder Lock software. It's very good at locking
folders. You can password-protect, lock, hide and
encrypt any number of files, folders, drives, pictures
and documents in seconds. Protected files are hidden,
undeletable, inaccessible and highly secure. It's the most
downloaded software ever for this kind , with 5 million
downloads!! You can download it from this URL:
