My Sytem Configuration is AMD XP+, 512 MB RAM and 120 GB HDD. I tried installing Fedora Core 3 on my system but it does not recognizes my HDD. Why does it does not recognizes the SATA HDD. Do i need any extra driver. How do i provide the driver while installing Fedora Core 3. Please help me.

Right off the assembly line
Use Raid

Turn on raid it may help ,if u have single Sata HDD use Stripe option on activating Raid in bios

i wonder why thats happening as i was running two sata drives on the 865 with FC3. there is no additional driver needed the sata driver is in the distro. What mobo are u using is it an SI card that u have in that case i think that an additional driver is required (actually a kernel recompile will do the trick) alternativly try FC4 its much better and upto date.
