sandy bridge memory confusion

I want to buy 8GB(2X4GB) 1600Mhz DDR3 RAM but donno which one to buy. Everyone are saying that only 1.5v sticks will work with sandy bridge. Is it true?

My Motherboard will be a asus maximus IV extreme or a p67 sabertooth so i have shortlisted some of them from corsair. Please suggest according to which will work with the above boards.

1. Corsair Vengeance(1.5V)
2. Corsair Dominator(1.65V)--Will this work or will it spoil the board?

Both RAMs will work but it's better if you take 1.5v for more headroom in OC or higher FSB's. I seriously Suggest you go with Vengeance... it's not Dominators will not work... It's just Veng'' is new versions..

EDIT: BTW, Vengeance ensures compatibility with 2nd generation (Sandy Bridge).. So better to opt this one...

Corsair Vengeance(1.5V) should cost around 8k for 2x4GB dual channel kit and Corsair Dominator should cost above/around 10k for 2x4GB dual channel kit
