I have windows 98se. Recently I cannot reach the authentication [verifying username & password] stage.

Can please someone help.

I have windows 98se.

Until recently I could log on to sancharnet, but now when I try to connect the dialer keeps on dialing and then gives out a time out error.

I increased the time out settings to the max.

I have also checked the network, modem settings thoroughly.

Also uninstalled & reinstalled all of the above.

Inspite of all this I cannot connect to sancharnet, although I can connect to netone.
