Rpcss.exe error in Internet Explorer

Hy,
In windows 98 SE my Internet Explorer 6 not working .whenever I type any site address and click go/enter a error comes "RPCSS.EXE has invalid page fault in <unknown> module". and system hang. Internet is working fine in mozilla firefox. Till now I again extract rpcss.exe file from windows98 setup CD + reinstall Internet Explorer 6 +Reinstall VB 6 ,as i thought this problem may be because of some dll files currupt. Still i got this error. Any solution?

actually i aready read that article that's why i reinstall VB and rpcss.exe file, but this article also tells that problem due to dial up conenction,but i have no dial up conenction,office 97 etc install on my PC.
