I overshot your budget by 3k but its worth it imo. The Cpu i've suggested has a very good gpu and offers discrete card level performance (similar to a radeon 5570). Its a quad core cpu as well.

The motherboard is based on A75 chipset and has an hdmi port. So you can hook it to your led tv.

Suggested a 500gb because its just 400 bucks more than a 250gb. You get twice the space.

Tell us your opinions. :)

^^ then upgrade the HDD to WD Black as it carries more warranty (5yr vs 2yr) or go for AMD A8 though you may find AMD Phenom II X4 960T + 880G board at same price but with lower graphics power. A8's GPU really blows away all lowend GPU.

^^ After reading about your usage, i did not suggest you a gaming system but one completely balanced for your needs. You can stick with llano as its having an excellent igp.

Besides a75 mobo has hdmi. So without installing a discrete gou, you can hook up the system to your hdtv.

it depends on your usage.for your usage i think 2 cores are more than sufficient & mobo quality matters if you are planning on overclocking.also cilus config is more flexible since you are getting 4 cores as well as a discreet graphics card which is much more powerful than llano.who knows maybe in future you decide to use post processing/madvr to watch videos on a large screen(which btw is very gpu intensive just like games)or play some games then a discreet card like 6670 will come in handy.of course if you are sure that you will never try methods to increase picture quality or try games then llano is good for you.
