Dear all

We r just implement DHCP in our office & I just want to know is there any way that the department get the IP in range i.e. if I configure 192.168.120.2 to 192.168.120.50 for Accounts etc.

Secondly can I distribute the bandwidth of my ISP i.e. if i get 100mbps form ISP so can I distributes them such a way that the A/C department get 50mbps of bandwidth and Sales Department get 20mbps bandwidth
etc.

Waiting for the reply
Vijay

i think you are better off using a proxy server than dhcp.. though i am fully aware of the benefits of dhcp and its ease..

Yes you can achieve both first one will depend on the structure of your network to decide the best approach.
The second could be configured on your firewall by distributing bandwidth based on hostname or mac addresses.
BTW nice questions :)
