removing linux boot loader

Right off the assembly line
I have windows 2000,win xp and linux 8.0 o.s loaded in my system.

how will i change my grub boot loader and fix it as it was before loading linux ?

the 3rd time somebody's askin this question...

use ur winxp boot disk for installation and enter the recovery in dos mode... (boot frm the cd)
in the dos mode type, FIXMBR ,

This will not allow u to use ur Linux any more nd PLZ dont use the 2000 cd...

First, search the forum for the problem. The solution has been posted at least 4-5 times earlier. That will give you an instant answer.

Since you are pretty new here. I have done that for you ;) I serched with the words "remove GRUB". It gave me 22 results. You can do the same and go thru those 22 threads. At least one will suit your needs.

PS : Although my heart says I shouldn't help you in removing Linux :twisted:, I let my brain win over it ;)

Right off the assembly line
boot pc with win xp cd
start recovery console
enter the windows partition number to login in
at prompt write down this command
C:/fixmbr
and enter the type "exit"
then restart
