What problems did you face last time round.?
Reinstalling should not create any problems except the fact that that XP has this irritating habit of wiping off GRUB and replace it with it's own bootloader. So you wil need to reinstall GRUB and add XP's boot entry to grub after installing XP.

1. Install XP as usual
2. Boot from a Linux Live CD, run the terminal and type:
Code:
grub-install --no-floppy /dev/sda
3. You're done.
