I installed Red Hat LInux on a machine on network. Other machines in the network are having win 98/me. But i could not access the Red Hat Machine using telnet command from windows machines. I tried a lot e.g. using TCP/IP, FTP. but it cannot connect. Please Help me.

welcome to the forum mate. Installing Red Hat Linux alone isnt enough. You should have the proper services for FTP/Telnet/HTTP installed and started as well. Only then can you do the respective actions.

ssh is a better option and is installed by default. So download a small pgm called putty and you will be able to login into linux machine. By the way putty also allows telnet.
