recover administrator password?

i haf a pc wid windows xp sp2 and two user accounts 1) administrator 2) limited user account. the problem is that the admin user is rarely used. i forgot the password and the password Q aint helping either. since the other a/c is limited user i cant create a new admin account. can the account be recovered is any way? i haf some files in that folder which i want now. i dun want to format it as i will lose the files. please help.

thanks for your help. i tried offline nt password resetter it din work. tried two other methods too, but wasnt successful. am gonna try all the available methods. since i wasnt thru the process i din give any feedback. i'll get back as soon i am able to reset it or after tying all the methods.
