I have a problem with p2p network i have. One of the computers could not come on the nw. HP tech support asked to put nw speed at 10 mbps. Now the network works but the speed is slow. How do I handle this?
replace the nic (lan card) for that you have set up your n/w speed to 10 mbps with a 100 mbps nic. and set up network speed to 100mbps and then see the difference.
I earlier has 100mbps speed but was asked to reduce to 10 by HP online support as the system would refuse to come on the LAN at 100mbps. At 10 mbps it works but very slowly.
