problem with svchost.exe

Right off the assembly line
i have three instances of svchost.exe in my taskmanager.. i dont know if this is the cause for the problem.. its that my connection gets disconnected, and it wont redial,it shows svchost.exe error.. i use dataone home500 plan.. so i've scheduled it to connect to net at 2am and start downloading.. i had no probs earlier..recently,after sometime,the connection gets disconnected and the above error occurs..any1 plz help me

make sure it is SVCHOST.EXE

you can have more than one SVCHOST.EXE. Each Svchost.exe session can contain a group of services.

svchost.exe is a generic host process name for services that run from .dll files.
To view the list of services that are running in svchost:
start-->>run-->>type CMD-->>OK-->> Type Tasklist /SVC, and then press ENTER.

make sure it should be svchost

and it must be a system process..

if its owner is logged in user..that means there is something wrong with your system

for better safety u can also run a hijackThis test and post your log file so that someone can help u

smss.exe
killer.exe
svchost.exe(three times)
lsass.exe
3>just download these useful antivirus and registry cleaners
