problem with norton's partition magic.

using norton partition magic i merged two drives (one was emptied except the system volume information), it asked for the directory name for moving the files from the merging drive to the folder then it created the folder and merged the drives but now there is the directory with nothing inside it and even i could not delete the folder.

Even I unlocked the folder with the unlocker, not able to remove still.
I used the softwares like killbox for deleting during the startup but unable to remove the folder.

I tried deleting through the administrator account also. quite unable...

Is that due to the system volume information contained in the folder from the merging drive????

is formating the final solution to the problem??? Help!!!

This system volume information directory is a system directory. You cannot delete this. Generally you can view this only when you untick the options hide system files and foilders in folder options.
