problem with mouse

Hi guys

I have a rather old PC with WinXP loaded for the last 1 yr. Yesterday I loaded a game "Live for Speed" and after that my mouse was no longer functioning.

I found that the mouse was uninstalled and even Add Hardware did not help. It didn't show any option for Mice and Pointing devices.

I downloaded Logitech MouseWare but it was of no help.

Try to uninstall the game and then install the mouse again using Add/Remove Hardware in Control Panel.

If it does not help, there might be a problem with your mouse although it is unlikely as the problem occurred after the game was instlalled. Check if the mouse works on another PC or connect another mouse to your PC and see if it works.

Also make sure that the mouse is properly connected in the port. Try removing the mouse and connecting it again. If possible try connecting in another port with the help of connector cable....
