Problem with memory card

I have a E490.
1. Whenever I am trying to use the memory card, its showing `Unrecognized format` and the options are coming `Yes` or `No`. If I press either yes or no nothing is happening!
2. Nor can i see the usuage space of the memory card.
3. Its not getting detected by the pc also.
4. The h/s as a whole is not getting detected by the pc.
Please help me out with this problem as i really need the pics from the phone as well as the handset. thank You.

What you meant by 2nd description, wheather card or phone not getting detection.

Try inserting card in other set.

u will need to format the memory card.

i am not sure, but what might have happened is that u may have formatted the card from windows on ur pc and then inserted it in ur phone, although most of the times there is no problem but sometimes it might create an issue.

@ Int86, Moshel and Thinkfree thank you for ur concern. The problem is the card cant be accessed from the pc. The card cant be accessed from the phone also so cant be formatted. I did not do anything with the card for the last few months(no accessing from the pc or formatting in anyway.) Just recorded some videos and shot some pics. Thats all.
The warranty also lapsed on 22 August! Such a bad luck.
Now what can be done with it?

@ Thinkfree, it was not possible to format. The phone was giving a `failed` message. i also tried the card in another phone and it was not detected! So i thought it spoilt and bought a new one.

Do u think there was any other way to revive it? the shop has asked for the card to check it in a pc. I will be giving it to them.
