i am having problem with internet explorer.
i am using bsnl bb 256kb
it give very fast speed with opera, firefox (pages open quickly)
but in intenet explore pages take very long time (slower than dialup) while some pages dont even open.
what can be the problem.
i have checked the firewall . also tried by turning it off.
please give solution as i am not able to see my usage records as the bsnl dataone only opens in iE and even if it opens in opera , i am not able to use bandwidth calculator by shaplus as it works only for ie

I am using windows xp professional sp2

if u use IE only cuz of compatibility issues wid some sites, u can get this extension for firefox called IE Tab wich lets u open stuff in firefox as a tab behaving like IE

also see if ur speeds r slo on dat tab or not

that's why firefox and opera exist. i seldom have problems opening sites with firefox 1.5 rather, once ever, and that too i think was that sites server prob.!

try reinstalling IE...and make sure it is fully updated..

as legolas said, do spyware scans on ur pc cuz i hav noticed spyware does affect IE more than other browsers, cuz most ppl use IE so the makers of the spyware use IE exploits more often
