Problem wid LAN...

hello everyone, wen i turn on d sys , ma 'LAN or high speed intenet connection' is not getting detected..
'm using data one broadband connection(i.e bsnl)..normally wen i turn on d modem, a icon(of 2 computers) at d system tray gets dialled for about a min then it changes to an exclamatory mark saying ,
'Local Area connection Speed:100.0 Mbps Status:Limited or no connectivity' after which i can connect ma net..

but over d past 1 month the LAN icon on d system tray disappeared... also wen i check 'Network conections' in Control Panel the LAN or high speed internet icon is missing.. so cant connect ma net..really frustrating me.. help me to overcome this problem frenz

not sure but try making ur lan speed slow (10) from network properties

But that 100mbps is just the speed wat my ethernet card can support rite??? wat does it have to affect my modem getting detected or so...??!!

also a new dialog box appears saying 'found new h/w' though i have not connect any external devices...
