Dear friends,
i've some problems......

1---
My CHKDSK runs automatically at every start. i've to cancel every time by pressing any key. i've

4 partitions. C, D, E, F.

On [C:] winXP installed only!! and on [D:] program files.

how can i disable my autorun scandisk???

2---
i'm unable to shutdown my pc by START>>SHUTDOWN.
i've to shutdown by manually, i mean by pressing push button on my CPU (improper shutdown!)

But sometime it works by START>>SHUTDOWN.

My system is working fine, then why its unable to shutdown???

I think with your improper shutdowns.. the scandisk starts with every startup of ur system. Try booting your PC in safe mood. Once inside, use scandisk on all your 4 drives. Do defragmentation on all drives. Restart your PC normally.

Hope it helps.
