HI frnds.
I ve SONY HC 36 E handycam which uses cassette for recording. MY prob is that it gives decent quality when played on TV, but when i try to make a DVD the quality turns awful, sometimes even stuttering. and god knows why it takes tons of space (arnd 10 GB for 50 odd min).
Plz help me in making DVDs of reasonable quality so that i can reuse those cassettes.
thnx in advance

The video's captured in the cassette is in raw format. Hence it consumes a hell lot of space. You need to encode those video's to MPG format using Video encoders. Windows Movie Maker can do that. Free Virtual Dub is another good option.
After conversion, the video quality will decrease. Just make sure you keep optimal settings during encoding like screen size, Frame rate..etc.
