I have to print a whole lot of pdf files. suugest a good and cheap printer.
which is more economical
dot matrix
or
laser ?
Is ther any laser mfd? (around 5k - 10k).

Laser!!!!! And much much faster.... Even the slowest laser is faster than the fastest dot. You have to use dot matrix to print copies for receipts, bill etc.

Save your hearing! Get laser... I think the HP home laser is around 12K. But the print is so much clearer too that you will be printing just to look at the pages.
