Can anyone please provide me the street prices of the above cards in India. I would also like to know the price of 7900GS based card.
I dont know about 7900Gs But 7900Gt is sure around 18-19 k So definately 7900Gs will around 2k lesser than this XFX 7600 Gs 7.5K XFX 7600 GT 11.5K
Recently we went to Compass 2006, the biggest IT exhibition in eastern India. The price of MSI 7900GT announced there was Rs.18k.
But hasnt the prices dropped. Digit mentioned the 7900gt from xfx at 18k in October. And the prices in digit are slightly higher than street prices.
ok .. so prices roughly .. XFX 7900GS 256 MB - 16k's XFX 7900GS XXX 256 MB - 18k's (so EE a little less) XFX 7900GT 256 MB - 20k's XFX 7950GT 512 MB - 22.5k's X1900XT 512 MB - 24k's (forgot the company) X1950XTX 512 MB - 29k's (forgot the company , but both are the same)
hey which is Better 7600 or 7900 cuz im planning to buy soon...and my budget is around 10-15 thousands, and also whichever i will be buyin now ,will be i use for at least 3yrs ....so tell me whether this cards will be enough seeing the next 3yrs....
7600 is a MID-range card & 7900 is High-end card...so the answer to your question is 7900 is MUCH MUCH better than 7600. In Lamington Road, Mumbai with Rishi Periphirals (the authorised distributors of XFX N-Vidia Gfx cards) the price of: XFX (PV-T71G-UDFR) Geforce7900GT (256mb DDR3) is Rs.17000 XFX (PV-T71F-YDER) Geforce7900GTX (512mb DDR3) is Rs.25500 But I am told that MID-range Dx10 cards within 10k to 15k will be available sometime this summer. So you might be better off waithing for another 5 months to get a DX10 card in your price range as the above cards are not DX10 compatible.
wait dont get a 8800 GTX now..... theres some fishy thing going around !!! Source :- theInquirer This was in regard of launch of ATI R600 cards So we could see more improvement in G80 cards, along with reduction in prices
Minimum requirement for support of Dx10 is PCIx16 1.0 Slot..Though waiting for the surprise in PCIex 2.0 slot And if you mobo has it will sure work.....all you need is a Dx10 supporting GPU
Its available now but not in the market...some people from another forum were getting it...donno how... and even got it.... The BIG 8800GTX was 36k's....
i have a pcie4x thing .so i suppose it shud work . But the card is not in the list of those supported!!(i think its an unupdated list.) http://www.asrock.com/support/VGA/show.asp?Model=775Dual-915GL#PCIE When will these cards become affordable. I think its worthwhile waiting ..
42k is too high for the 8800gtx, especially when it sells in the US for 27k (600$). Thats almost 15k higher, the price at which you can get another mid range card.
