POP with an Orange connection

    Hi

    I v a Sony Ericsson T230 phone with Orange prepaid connection

    my phone supports POP3,SMTP and IMAP

    but i m unable to access any of my free POP3 accounts like google or any other accounts with it

    orange customer care cant help me either

    plz help

    dude....u need GPRS enabled...btw, i tried the email thing with my GPRS...never worked....i had the Rs. 99 pm connection....i think u need 2 have the Rs. 500 om connection 4 it 2 work....

    my GPRS is on !!

    its a Rs.99 p/month connection

    will i b able to surf the net with my PC with a SE T230 phone and data cable with a Rs99 per month connection ??

    what will b the speed of the connection??

    i still cannot access POP mail with my phone !!! :-(

    Can you post the settings you configured for accessing POP3 on GMail? There might be a problem with the settings prohibiting you from accessing GMail.

    By settings I mean the settings on your phone, not on GMail.
