Plz suggest a media player(video) to alter speed/pitch

I have these dumb 200hrs VIDEO lectures (.avi) on my comp. Each lecture being 60mins each.


Now I am a bit impatient so I need to finish these lecture fast.

This is what I tried :-

Winamp 5

I run the video lecture in winamp... Use this plugin called PACEMAKER by which i can adjust the speed and pitch of the lecture...So for example I can finish one 60 min video lecture in 40 to 30mins depending on the speed and my comprehension.

PACEMAKER has some bugs...others users have confirmed it. It hangs every now and then.


Can somebody suggest me an alternative to this? I gues no other winamp plugin fit into it. I have tried few. If the speed is changed, the pitch is altered...pacemaker does give you an option to slow down the pitch even if the speed is fast. So voice quality is maintained even in fast speed.

Preferably voice quality should not hamper(adjustable pitch) even if speed is increased.

why dont you use VLC player..? google to get it mate..
