I have a p3 win98 pc with 64mb sd ram.

I used a demo version of Ranish Parttion Manager
to resize my D: drive,504 MB less . Now i want to use
the space I freed, to make a new partition but i can't
locate it.How do I do that?
I installed Desktop Architect and then downloaded
a harry potter connectix desktop manager theme.By
mistake I downloaded the Mac version.It doesn't
change the icons on changing the theme.I uninstalled
both and reinstalled windows version of connectix but
to no avail.Please help me.

Also Kindly suggest me the configuration for a new
top-end sub-75,000 PC primarily for gaming and running
high end softwares. It should be totally future
proof, fast with large screen area and a masterpiece of
luxury.

Some more Probs.
1) Why does my 16X DVD reading CD's at
52X copy a full CD in 40 minutes?
2) I can't find Disk Management anywhere
in the Control Panel. What to do?How do I create
another taskbar on the desktop? How do I go about
configuring Reliance Phone as a modem in Linux?
3) How to convert *.wav into *.mp3/*.ogg
and *.dat(VCD format) into *.mpg/*.mpeg? How to split
a VCD into particular parts of certain length? Is there
any software which can load the rest of CD except
scratches or corrupt data?

Thanx.anyone,pleasee help me.

i may not solve your other problems but one thing i can say

ha ha ha ha ha ha NOTTHING IS FUTURE PROOF IN COMPUTERS
ONE DAY OR THE OTHER ITS GONNA GET OLD

now about the lost partitions , try Pc inspector recovery in advance mode
select the hard disk ! click on find logical drives and everything will come on the screen
get back all your deleted files ! about the partiotion ! umm try latest version of the ranish ! after you recover all the files
try recovering back the partition format it and enjoy
well u got be careful when using Partition manager ! it can be dangerous to play with your data !

u must be having a very badly managed hard disk thats why its copying at that much slower rate ! get a new ID cable a 80 pin one refer digit for more info on that ! and yes please manager your hard disk in a good manner do scan it and defrag it regulary

and tell me why you were making partition of 540 mb's or less are you mad or wat ? !!! wat you were gonna save on it ????? on such a small space

try DB Poweram for all the audio conversion ! use virtual dub for video conversion and EASYDIVX DVD for DVD conversion

Hey I wasnt avare of that at all
We do have a search function.
Thanx for pointing that out.
But i hope its not the 'search for ur posts n since last visit n no replys'
For the first time i noticed the searchin lens next to the '?'.
But is it efficient enough,How does it search?
Can v search for text inside posts or topic names.
Will try it out right away.
Thanx.

i think it pretty much searches everything
if what u search for isnt in the topic it'll be there in the post and highlighted as u will see in its html link
it is quite efficient when used right
ur gonna have to think of every variation before u get a result that exists
