Hi, I am using Sony Ericsson W850i and have recently subscribed to PlanetHutch Services for West Bengal. The problem is my I could not connect using GPRS in spite of the fact that GPRS has been successfully activated (I confirmed this from the Hutch Customer Care personnel)
Since there is no automatic settings available for my phone model, I have manually set up the GPRS settings...

Data Accounts: [PS Type]: Hutch_GPRS

Login Request: Off
Allow Calls: Automatic
IP Address: ... (also tried with 10.10.1.100)
DNS Address: ...
Authentication: None, PAP, CHAP
Data Compression: Off
Header Compression: Off
Menu > Settings > Connectivity > Internet Profiles:
Connect Using: Hutch_GPRS
Use Proxy: Yes
Proxy Address: 10.10.1.100
Port No: 9401
Username:
Password:

With These Settings whenever I try to browse using the WAP browser, at first it tries to reconnect and then gives the foll. error message:
"Connection Failure. Check settings. If problem persists Contact your operator"
Please help me with this problem. The hutch personnel said to clean up the SIM and then reconnect but its failing. Seems to be a problem with my phone settings
