Hey Guys,

I am planning to get rid of my system, which is working excellent till date.
The only reason is to go ahead with a laptop...a kind of desktop replacement...

Anyways, here are the specs -

Intel Pentium 4 3.0 Ghz HT
Intel 915GAV Motherboard
1GB DDR400 RAM
CoolerMaster HeatSink
Intel HSF ( that came with CPU )
Nvidia Geforce 6600 256MB Gfx Card
Sony DVD Writer ( Black )
Server Cabinet - 2 system fans
400Watts Frontech SMPS
Creative Inspire 6.1 Surround Sound SPeakers
LG Studioworks 700E 17" CRT
Numeric 1KVA UPS - gives 55 mins of bacup with monitor.
LAN Card

Let me know the best price I should get for this....

worry not dear....i have some dealers on Earth too !!

and i am not going to break apart the system and sell individual components.....planning to sell this as a single component...as a whole.

And i guess I forgot to add -

Microsoft Wireless Keyboard/Mouse Combo

Seriously, I am getting the following price for the complete system from my local PC dealer I am dealing with since the last 4/5 years --

Intel Pentium 4 3.0 Ghz HT + Intel 915GAV Motherboard = 5000
1GB DDR400 RAM = 2500
CoolerMaster HeatSink = 1000
Intel HSF ( that came with CPU ) = 0
Nvidia Geforce 6600 256MB Gfx Card = 3000
Sony DVD Writer ( Black ) = 1000
Server Cabinet - 2 system fans + 400Watts Frontech SMPS = 1000
Creative Inspire 6.1 Surround Sound SPeakers = 2500
LG Studioworks 700E 17" CRT = 2500

If u r expecting same as what u r getting from ur dealer why are u posting it here?.

Which City are you in and If u cud tell me how much u r expecting... I can check the offer, since it is quite an interesting Rig u've got there.... A frnd of mine is looking out for a PC and Yes, he is fine with 512MB RAM, Onboard Video and Corded Desktop.... So, if u wanna breakup those components and quote the price that wud be great....


And, one small doubt... U've totaled the Cost as 23.5k but u say that u'r dealer is offering u 25k... i.e. 1.5k more than the market price....

;-) Any reasons why he doing such a favor?

I don't get this...u were offered "6k for the rig" so u consulted ur dealer who is giving u Rs.25000/- for that rig? If that is the case why r u even posting it here?...r u expecting that someone in this forum will buy it at a higher price?
