Get the latest driver, then dload NV hardpage, enable cool bits and OC using that.

Btw its UNSAFE.

LOL! ice u sound like those damn manufacturers who warn you against overclocking. But yeah overclocking is a bit risky if done improperly. But if do it the correct way it yields good results. :D

Instead of using hardpage, try coolbits registry files. *downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=815. This way there's no hassles of compatible drivers. Hardpage etc. usually works with certain driver versions and anytime a new driver is available, u have to wait for an updated Hardpage. I dunno if its still like that, but a year back, it was so.

DO NOT OVERCLOCK IF YOUR GPU COMES WITH A HEATSINK ONLY & NO FAN

Extra cooling is only needed if u r into major occing or ur amb temp is quite high. Btw, Blade, a fan will go a long way in extending the life of ur card even if its working fine without one. And if u're occing majorly, u might try heatsinks for the ram on ur card. Check out *www.tech-arena.com/articles.php?action=show&showarticle=11.
See, lower operating temps=longer life+more stability.

Overclocking can be done dirictly through the graphics driver itself.
Please follow these steps carefully.
start/run nd type regedit nd press enter
Now the registry editor pops up.Here navigate to:
HKEY_LocalMachine/Softwares/Nvidia/Global/NVTweaks.
Here right click on the empty space on right side new/DWORD value
Name it CoolBits nd give the value 3
Close the registry editor nd restart.

Now after restart Rigthclick on blank space on desktop/properties/advanced/Gforce tab.
Here a new column appears called clock frequencies. Here U can adjust the core nd memory clocks.
Do this by an increment of bout 10 mhz each time nd do some gaming after each increment till it starts showing atrifacts. Then reduce the speed bout 5 to 6 mhz.
Done this is the sweet point of Ur card.
