Only CPU gaming rig for 25 k.

I want to upgrade my pc.but only the cpu. I.e everything in the cabinet. Except hdd. Please recommend . My budget 25 k.

No i want only the config for the cpu not the monitor etc. Besides that thread had a very basic rig line up. I 've thought of the i5 sandy bridge and for the gpu maybe the 560 ti amp edition. What do you say?

Push your budget above 35k for an i5 + 560Ti config. What more to say?

Ok. Maybe i can extend my budget. What other good gpu comes in less than 10k? I've thought of the 6850 cyclone by amd. Any suggestions?

6850 is great , it can max out many games at 1080p with some exceptions like Battlefield 3.

But according to anandtech 6850 gave a fps of 38. Its pretty good at ultra high settings

for 10k budget, HD6850 or HD7770 are the only GPU possible. else the next GPU lineup starts from around 15k if you ignore HD6870 which retails for 12.*k
